About Niagara Parks Power Station + The Tunnel

The Niagara Parks Power Station repurposes a century-old generating station into a hands-on museum of engineering, complete with restored machinery, immersive exhibits and an audio tour that brings hydroelectric history to life. After exploring the main hall and displays, visitors ride an elevator and walk a long, atmospheric tunnel that leads to a platform at river level beneath the falls' spray.

The Tunnel experience gives visitors a rare, intimate vantage point of the falls from below and is often paired with timed light shows in the evenings. The combination of industrial heritage, interactive displays and the final riverside exit makes this attraction a rich and educational complement to the panoramic viewpoints.
