About Yukon Transportation Museum

The Yukon Transportation Museum explores the machines and stories that kept Yukon moving—from riverboats and trains to bush planes and heavy equipment. Exhibits include restored vehicles, a popular bush pilot room and an outdoor collection of historic machinery. The museum is compact but dense with information and often appreciated by visitors with short layovers, as it’s close to the airport and easy to combine with nearby attractions.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and combination admissions with nearby interpretive centres make for an efficient, enriching visit. Enthusiasts of aviation and overland transport will find plenty to enjoy.
