About Toronto Zoo

The Toronto Zoo spans large, naturalistic habitats and regions that showcase animals from around the world, from polar bears and primates to reptiles and birds. It focuses on conservation, education and species protection, with many exhibits designed to replicate animals’ native environments. Visitors can plan a full day here—there are dining facilities, a splash pad seasonally, a carousel and seasonal events. Because the site is large, comfortable footwear and advance ticket planning (including shuttles from Union Station at busy times) are recommended.
